Seller Guidelines

Welcome to Unpaired. We’re a curated marketplace for single and unpaired footwear, including left-only, right-only, mismatched, and replacement shoes.

To maintain quality and trust for buyers, all sellers and listings must meet the guidelines below. Listings that do not comply may be rejected or removed.


1. What You Can Sell

Unpaired allows listings for:

  • Single shoes (left-only or right-only)
  • Unpaired or mismatched shoes
  • Replacement shoes (e.g., medical, orthotic, loss/damage replacements)
  • Adult and children’s footwear

All items must be authentic and accurately described.


2. What You Cannot Sell

The following are not permitted:

  • Counterfeit or replica items
  • Footwear with undisclosed damage
  • Listings without clear size information
  • Listings that do not specify left/right when applicable
  • Non-footwear items (unless explicitly approved by Unpaired)
  • Listings with misleading titles or photos

3. Required Product Title Format (Mandatory)

All product titles must clearly include:

  • Brand (if applicable)
  • Style/model
  • Size
  • Left or Right designation

Examples:

  • Men’s Nike Air Max – LEFT – Size 10
  • Kids Converse Chuck Taylor – RIGHT – Size 3
  • Women’s Black Ankle Boot – LEFT – Size 8

Listings without this information may be rejected.


4. Required Product Details

Each listing must include:

Be honest. Buyers rely on this information, and misleading listings will be removed.

  • Size (U.S. sizing required)
  • Left or Right (must be explicitly stated)
  • Condition (new, like new, gently used, used)
  • Accurate description of wear, scuffs, or flaws

5. Photo Requirements

All listings must include clear, original photos of the actual item being sold.

Required:

  • At least 2 photos
  • Neutral background preferred
  • Clear view of the full shoe
  • Close-up of sole and condition

Not allowed:

  • Stock photos
  • Blurry images
  • Photos that hide damage

6. Pricing & Condition Standards

  • Price must reasonably reflect condition
  • Condition must match photos and description
  • Excessively misleading pricing or descriptions may result in removal

Unpaired reserves the right to review pricing for quality and marketplace integrity.


7. Approval Process

  • All sellers are manually approved
  • All products are manually reviewed before going live
  • Approval is based on guideline compliance and overall marketplace fit

Submission does not guarantee approval.


8. Rejections & Corrections

If a listing is rejected:

  • You may revise and resubmit
  • Repeated guideline violations may result in account removal

We aim to be fair, transparent, and consistent.


9. Updates to These Guidelines

Unpaired may update these guidelines as the marketplace evolves. Sellers are responsible for staying informed of current requirements.
